ABOUT PETER ABRAHAMS

Peter Abrahams is a strategic thinking, highly influential, and results oriented Safety, Health, Environment and Risk practitioner and leader. He has proven experience in designing and implementing effective systems to achieve key business strategies in the areas of Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Asset Integrity, Efficiency, and Enterprise Risk Management.

Having held a variety of HSE and Risk related roles across Caltex Australia’s Refining, Supply and Distribution, and Corporate business units, Peter is now the Head of Health, Safety & Environment for Caltex Australia.

As Head of HSE, Peter is responsible for overseeing HSE Strategy development and implementation across the Caltex Australia enterprise. He oversees the corporate HSE function, partners with HSE Managers within Operations, and coordinates the HSE governance reporting function for the Caltex Executive and Board of Directors.

Peter holds a Bachelors Degree in Exercise & Sports Science, and a Masters Degree in Health, Safety and Environment from the University of NSW.
